These plain-language terms must be reviewed with ArtDEAN’s legal counsel and completed with the company’s official contact and governing-law details before launch.
Community contributions
You confirm that you took the submitted photo or have permission to share it, that the depicted work is publicly visible, and that the location and description are provided in good faith. You grant ArtDEAN a non-exclusive licence to store, resize, display and archive the contribution for cultural discovery and verification.
Review status
A Visitor Review marker is an unverified community report, not an ArtDEAN factual conclusion. ArtDEAN may verify, correct, reject, hide or remove submissions. Verified status means the location and basic identity were reviewed; it is not certification of authorship, ownership, authenticity, condition or value.
Temporary works
Contributors should identify temporary installations and, when known, their expected removal date. ArtDEAN may retain an expired entry as a clearly dated historical record without presenting it as currently installed.
Professional profiles
Organizations are responsible for accurate profile and campaign information. Paid placements are labelled and do not alter heritage-record rankings.
Acceptable use
Do not upload private-location imagery, personal data, unlawful content, misleading claims, advertisements disguised as visitor discoveries, or material you cannot lawfully share.
Public-information disclaimer
ArtDEAN is a discovery and research-lead service. It does not provide certified provenance, authenticity, legal ownership, attribution, condition or valuation conclusions.
